"Soap and Glory" No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask Review

I've been using this product for about 3-4 weeks, about twice a week so I feel like I can make an accurate comment on it. This is the first "Soap and Glory" product I've ever used and I am very impressed so far. This is their "No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask", which is designed to clean greasy and oil prone skin to help prevent blackheads.

Firstly, I have VERY acne prone skin, so I need something that will not irritate my skin, give me too much oil or take too much oil away. I need something with balance. This product is good at doing this, not perfect, but still quite good.

You need to vigorously shake it before use, otherwise it is rather watery. You only need a small dollop on your hand, just enough to cover your face in a thin layer. You then rub it onto your dry face until it is even. Next, wet your fingers and rub it all over once more, I have to wet my fingers 3-4 times to get it the right consistency. The wonderful thing about this product is that you know when should stop rubbing it into your skin, as it turns a light blue colour. It will also go warm, another very good thing about this product as it helps to draw out; dirt, oil and the nasty stuff that causes blackheads and some acne.
Leave on for 2-5 minutes and then wash it of with a little, cute, free pink sponge that comes with the mask.

Now for my verdict on this. I do like this product, I would give it a 6/10. It does get rid of the grease and oil on my face and leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean afterwards. I do have to moisturise straight afterwards as it gets rid of so much oil, my skin becomes tight and dry, but I have noticed a slight reduction in blackheads and my acne is getting better with it too. The only concern is using the same sponge every time I want to clean it off, will it harm my skin by transferring the germs? I have found not, I can see no different in my skin between washing it off with my hands and washing it off with a sponge.

I hope you've enjoyed this review and maybe even found it helpful. You can buy it from Amazon for £13.99.
Thanks for reading,
Livi x
